Here is a painting of my grandson Harry I've just completed. The original photo was taken when he was checking to see if it was time to leave for a day at the zoo. Such concentration - I just had to paint it!

I have been addicted to art and crafts for as long as I can remember and what used to be a hobby has for the last ten years become my job too so I'm a lucky girl. I teach regular classes in quilting and art to adults and also design and sell art quilt patterns. In the distant past my ambition was to be a ballet dancer. I became a ballet teacher instead so teaching has always been my "thing". I have my family living nearby which is wonderful, a lovely husband and Henry our rather grumpy but very pretty Lasa Apso.
